Okay, so I was sleep deprieved and high on extra thick, sugarless, black coffee, when I came up with the name.

Anyway, discussions with some members of AA indicated their eagerness to go down to Singapore to meet up with old and new AA members in Singapore. Plans are still being drawn at the moment, but the suggestion is to take the overnight train down sometime November or December. Hopefully we could aim for Christmas when everyone is free.

We\'re going to need suggestions from Singapore members on where to find good cheap accommodations and places to meet.

Please also do post when you think is the best time to come down. Your cooperation in making this meet successful is greatly appreciated

Well, good cheap accommodation: Stay over at someone\'s house? Its free, but the only defining factor is one\'s parents. Hotel 81 is not bad, but try not to get those in sleazy places. ( Hotel 81 is famous for sleaze, FYI.. Avoid Fragrance. )

There\'s a Hotel 81 Bencoolen. Its near Orchard Road ( 5-10 mins walk ) and pretty close to \"City Hall\" ( 5-10 min walk too)
Its not known for sleaze, but a popular choice for budget tourists.

I suggest City Hall as a venue, and a more exact location: The starbucks cafe outside City Hall MRT station, directly at the front facade of Raffles City. If not, Orchard Road is a good meetup venue, but it can get really crowded after 6pm. Finding a spot, well, if you wanna consider a spot shared by thousands of others...

But if you\'re gay, there\'s another rainbow district, at Telok Ayer.

Not to mention Orchard Road itself has prositution going on...
